... although a lot of communications and press reports have appeared in the last two weeks concerning this development, none of these represent the official viewpoint of the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia, although we share many of the concerns which have been expressed. The blog which appears at http://victoriafallsheritage.blogspot.com has not been posted by WECSZ, although we share some of the opinions expressed therein. We have many members with strong opinions and they as individuals are free to express those opinions, but they do not constitute the official position of the society. For reasons of clarity it may be easier in the future to communicate either with myself as Chairman of the Livingstone branch, or Adam Pope, as President of the Society and not individual members (at least when it comes to the official stand of the society).
